I am very happy with the way the pants fit. I can't stand to have wide leg pants and when you are a big person, it is nice to have slim legs at the ankles.

Poor Fit

The sizes have changed, so has the cut . The old sizing was much better, I've worn these pants for many years but now since the new sizing they no longer fit. I am 5'6 and the average is WAY to long, they bunch up at the ankle and look very sloppy. I tried a 4X, far to tight and the 5X is WAY too big, so big that they are falling down. I am so dissapointed, I don't know what I'll do now for pants, these are the only pants that have ever fit but that was BEFORE the new sizing took place.

I am thick in the waist in proportion to my hips and legs so the stretch waist and slimmer legs fit me to a T! Usually pants are too baggy in the legs and seat.NICE TO HAVE SOME WELL FITTING PANTS AGAIN!Very comfortable, like a pair of stretch pants.Wish these came in white and capris! I'd buy them in a heartbeat!I have just lost some weight and up for some new Spring and Summer clothes! How about it ,Catherines!??

I wear jeans everyday to work and these are by far the BEST.
They fit great, look awesome and wash real well. My very favorite by far. You must try them, if you haven't yet.

I love these jeans soooo much!!! I wear the petite size, and the length is absolutely perfect. It got tiring always having to roll up the regular length ones, so I was thrilled when I discovered them in petite. These wear like a dream to me. I love the "x" sizing so much more than the previous sizing. Thank you, Catherine's!

I've bought all three colors. I agree that the new sizing system is not as good as the old one. The disturbing thing is that the black jeans have the odor of burning rubber which does not go away after washing.

I previously bought these when they were sized as 18W-34W under the Liz&Me label. The X sizes fit a little differently but they work. I like the all around elastic waist for comfort and no hardware to show with slinky or knit tops. I like the no pockets no bluge also. They fit like a legging but are looser. This will always be my favorite jean. Please keep them and never discontinue.

I too have previously bought theser denim pants as well as the twill colored leggings. Always very satisified and the fit was great. The new fabric and new sizing is awful. I will not buy these pants anymore. Very disappointed with Catherines for this change. I am a very long time, loyal customer that is very unhappy with the changes. Please bring back the previous style, fabric and sizing.

Not what they used to be....

For years, I reliably bought pull-on jeans and twill leggings from Catherines and was so happy with them. They fit well, washed up nicely and lasted a long time. I recently started a new job and wanted to buy a couple of new pairs. The Catherines stores near me have closed, so I have to order online and with the new sizing for these, I only bought one pair to check them out. While they fit OK and are VERY comfortable, the black fabric has an odor that has not come out after wearing, airing outside or washing a couple of times. At least they didn't shrink but they're very disappointing. I don't think I'll even bother ording the leggings again since that sizing is really off now but I'll try another color of these jeans and hope for the best.

I agree with the previous poster. I have bought all of my work pants and casual jeans from Catherines because I could order the exact size. Now I have to be either a 2X or a 3X and I'm neither one. A 2X is too tight and a 3X is way too big. The pants are leggings or even tapered correctly, they are just an ugly pant now. I won't be buying any of these jeans or the twill leggings, it's a waste of money on a poor quality pant.

They should have never changed the sizing to X's. They don't fit right anymore. They are much too baggy in the stomach and don't have a slimming look anymore at all. They don't look good and they have lost a long time jeans buyer from me.
