Nice for cooler weather

I was able to try this on in the store and bought it in black. I did buy it a little bigger so that I could wear bulkier, layered clothes under it. It is a lighter-weight coat, alone doesn't provide a lot of warmth in winter months. When worn alone, because it's more of a jacket, it does show my back fat when I pull my arms forward, so now that I am aware of it, I try to make sure I am at the 'proper' angle to my public so that my vanity isn't put to shame. Overall, I feel cute in this and am very happy with it after wearing it for 4 months, and recommend it. BTW I am short and stocky, I buy clothes in either 1X or OX depending on the style. I bought this jacket in a size 1X.

THE COLOR WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. THE FABRIC LOOKED TOTALLY DIFFERENT. NOT FLATTERING FOR A FULL FIGURE PERSON, ADDED BULK TO FIGURE DUE TO FABRIC.

This coat is so warm and stylish that it would be hard to part with. I used the size chart to order, but this product runs a little big for the size. In the photos it does not show that the jacket has an A line shape to it. Although it is a little large, it does allow me to wear sweaters under it comfortably, It is also easy to use for both casual and dress. The buttons and leather trim add a bit of casual class to the jacket. Looks great with jeans or a dress.

I like this coat a lot as is not too heavy and is so soft and comfortable.Fits me like most of other 5X purchases from Catherines. Got on sale and think is a great deal as have wanted a black coat that I could dress up or down. Love Catherines!

I loved this coat online and ordered my regular size 2x. It was HUGE! I would have to go down 2 sizes for a better fit. Had to send back since there isn't a Catherines in my town. Cost of mailing is annoying.
i will say the color (plum) and fabric was nice.
