What I love the most about the fit is the waist. It fits at the waist and does not gap, showing who knows what in the back, when I sit down.

Needed to change to petite

I like the look of these and I bought 2 pair. However, I discovered through wearing that the rise is much too long. I went to Catherines today and just for kicks, I tried on a petite. It was a size smaller than I normally wear (they didn't have my size in stock), but the rise was perfect.
And on the petty side, I wish they would make the 5th pocket useful again. I always used it to carry small things or cards and receipts. But now it's skinny and tall and it's obviously for show. Please bring back the horizontal 5th pocket that is big enough to put a credit card in.

This is my second pair after tearing a hole in the other. They don't repair well but I was able to put a patch on them.
Fit? Well when I got these I couldn't believe how tight they were. I didn't remember the previous pair being so tight. I had to do the lie down on the bed thing to get them zipped. But by the end of the day they felt great! They just need to stretch a little.

The fit was good at first but after wearing for short while the fabrics relaxes even more and they become about one size bigger.

Liked the fit of the old style better!

I have purchased numerous Liz & Me slimmer jeans over the last few years....liked the black because I can wear them to work. The cut of the new style is not as comfortable...the rise in the back is to low...and they do run small....not sure if it is 2 sizes, but they run snug. Also, they cheaped up with belt loops around the back which makes the belt not lay snug to the waist...especially when you are sitting.....price went up and it looks like they cut corners. I am hoping the black does not fade like the old style did.

LOVED The Old Version - This One Not So Much

The new version of this jean has a few drawbacks. They seem to run quite a bit smaller than the old version. I used to buy 20P and had to go up to 24P in this version. I have an old pair of 20P that I still wear and they fit fine. And, having bought 2 pair of black and washed them, they have faded to a blue/black color. they now look more like blue demin than black. It looks like the fabric was originaly blue overdyed with black. It makes me wonder if they blue wasn't sellinig so they dyed them black! The old version faded to a light black color. I carry most of my weight through my hips and thighs so I like the straight leg fit. And they fit high enough on my waist that they don't show panties in the back.

gee, when will I find jeans?

Cons: Fit, waaay too big - stretched out!!
Beautiful style and fabric - and long for my 5'-11" frame. The problem is that they stretch out so much by the end of the work day!! They fit beautifully for about 2-3 hours. I loved the straight leg look with belted tunics -- stylish and could go from work to "out"....but the stretch was uncontrollable. I had to return these.

I have three pair of this style in the colored jeans. The denim fits a bit different. They are a little more high waisted and a bit tighter (first try on). I like them. They ARE long, which is good because most pants are just a tad short for me at 5'7" when you get shoes on.

odd fit

Judging by the picture I thought these jeans would be slim in the legs but the legs are cut very wide.

BEWARE! These jeans run extremely small

I like these jeans, but I always wear a size 24 but these jeans didn't even come close to fitting. I will need to go at least two to three sizes up for them to fit, that is how bad it is. I have many jeans from Catherine's and a lot of other stores and this is the first time I have ever had issues. I wonder if the tags are wrong on these jeans or the maker of these jeans is terrible in sizing.
