Sparkle Jean

Great if you are short!

I am 5'6" and I wish they were at least 1 inch longer. I have short legs so they are ok, but I like a boot cut better. They get a little baggy in the hip and butt area. They are pretty though.

They won't stay sparkly for long!

I am 5'4 and love these for this reason ... I was initially disappointed there was no such thing as petite with these and was pleased that they fit perfectly. (Except for the hip hugger thing ... they tend to slip down a bit and could do without the elastic waist.
However, I am in my first few hours of wearing them, not having done much strenuous activity at all, and several of the sparklies are gone, leaving a glob of glue in their wake. I noticed a pack of these in case this happens ... so am I supposed to spend all day sewing these on?
The fabric seems a bit thin. I don't think these will hold up very long.
I didn't buy them because they were sparkly, I bought them because they were the only black jeans I've seen in a while and they were 70 percent off. So I'm not really bothered by this, just annoyed. Had I actually paid $74 for these jeans, I would have been sorely disappointed.
In answer to whether I'd recommend this product, my disclaimer would be "only if you can get a deal!"

the pants themself are fabulous the length is to short, Catherines needs to carry tall - your average is way to short for average. I am returning the 2 pair that I purchased.

WHEN WHEN WHEN is Catherine's going to wake up and offer pants that are a little bit longer? These jeans are adorable; I ordered both colors and excitedly waited for them to arrive. But they barely graze the top of my ankles (I am 5'9") and are about 2-3 inches too short. Even with flats they are too short :-( I give up on trying to buy pants from Catherine's. They only carry Talls in the regular boring blue jeans. C'mon Catherine's!!! Make 'em a little longer please! Shorties can always hem the pants, but taller girls can't add any more fabric. Booooooooooooooo Makes me wonder where do they get the short models they use????
