These earrings are a beautiful compliment to the necklace but it's not necessary to have both. They are surprisingly light on the ear. They also go with so many colors - red, blue, green, etc. I was very surprised by the red combination but pleased to wear them together. I've only had them a few days and have managed to wear them twice. Easily my new favorites!
