Chiffon Diamond Duet
Double-layer top has a sheer chiffon layer with a lovely, geometric diamond pattern. A solid trim accents the openfront and ends of the sleeves. Underneath is a solid scoopneck tank with slimming side darts. Catherines tops are designed for the plus size woman to guarantee a flattering fit.

The tank top is very true to size and fits fine. The outer jacket is OK in length, but is very large in width/circumference. You want to have plenty of room but this jacket to me is overly large. It would overlap by many many inches if I pulled it tight.
I like the fabric as even though the jacket is sheer, it is not see-through. To make the jacket work for me, I had to take it in at several places. Since the fabric has a pattern, it did not show so it looks OK. The material was a little hard to sew as it was very thin and slippery. But there was just too much material wafting in the breeze for me to feel comfortable in it.
With my alterations, I like how it now looks. It can have a dressy or casual feel to it depending on the pants worn with it.
