Very comfortable.
Date:January 24, 2014
Cons: Fit, runs large
I tried this on in a 3x and wanted to go smaller. They didn't have a 2x so tried a 1x. It fit perfectly. I received lots of compliments on this cardigan. It made the dress pants I wore it with look like a very " put together " ensemble.

Horrible Fabric
Date:January 24, 2014
Pros: Style
Cons: poor fabric
This fabric becomes ruined after laundering. It gets the worst case of sticking, like static electricity, but it is not static. The fabric permanently becomes Velcro-ish and sticks to itself completely losing its drape and swing. This is a polyester/lycra blend knit fabric. It is soft and feels like tee-shirt fabric. Although the laundry label says to machine wash cold, gentle, and tumble dry low, the fabric does not come out as purchased.
I suspect that water is the main culprit and that these particular knit blend fabrics should probably be marked "dry clean only".
I compared it to another ruined cardigan in my closet that I bought from a department store last year and found the knit fabric to be the same: 97-98% polyester and 2-3% lycra. Those instructions were to hand wash, lay flat to dry, which I did, but it turned out just as self sticking and ruined. I experimented on my department store top with other laundry combinations including drip dry, fabric softener, dryer sheets, static spray, ironing, sizing, and starch, but nothing helped at all.
I returned the Catherine’s cardigan with no hassle. Since I really loved it I was tempted to buy another and test out my dry clean theory, but decided not to take the risk. Beware of this poly/lycra knit fabric blend at any store!

sleeves way too long
Date:November 20, 2013
Pros: Style, Comfort
Cons: Fit, sleeves too long
The sleeves went past my finger tips..Some sweaters you can roll the sleeves and it still looks good on...Not this one, rolling up the sleeves make it look cheap and shabby..I returned it and since i had it shipped to the store they sent it back for me an i found another sweater in the store i liked better and replaced it with that one..

Love the color and style but too long
Date:November 6, 2013
Cons: Fit
I love these cardigans but please make them in petite. I am 5 feet tall and can't wear one that comes to below my knees!

Another Disappointment
Date:November 5, 2013
Cons: Style, Fit, Comfort
Once again I was looking forward to seeing a package from Catherine's at my door and once again, I was disappointed with what I received.
While the cardigan is stylish and the fabrication isn't awful, it is cut way too large. The sleeves are so long that IF I were going to keep it, I would have to pay to have them hemmed and they would need to cut off a good 6+ inches which wouldn't work because of the pattern.
The open cardigan style is a blessing to the plus sized woman, especially those of us who are pear-shaped. However, rather than looking stylish, the cut and drape of the cardigan makes you look shlumpy and sloppy vs. sophisticated.
