How to help the ponchos fit better!!!
Date:July 1, 2014
Pros: Style, Fit, add a jewel as stated & turn this con into a pro!
Cons: Comfort, Item not as described
I can't help but notice that some people write reviews in the negative form, instead of trying to find a solution. Yes the person that left the poor review on this poncho is correct, & YES we pay a LOT of money for these, so they should have a perfect fit one would think. BUT, we are all shaped in different ways, & lets face it ladies, if it weren't for the fact that we have weight issues, we wouldn't be purchasing our clothing here at Catherines...even though they have beautiful clothing!! =) Things may not fit each one of us as well as we'd like them to, but there "are" answers to these issues. I find that when I purchase their ponchos, or some wraps, they do the same thing to me. I like to fidget with things, like add jewels, or something else to my ponchos anyway just to dress them up a little more. You can go to any JoAnn's store (usually there is a JoAnn's store right in the same shopping center as Catherines) if you go into their jewelery making isle, you can find pretty little things that can be hung on necklaces to make, or what ever you want. If you add one of these small jewels to the bottom from middle of the poncho, this holds the poncho forward, or most of the time I will just sew it to the top middle neckline of the poncho & this too gives added weight to the front of the poncho to help hold it down more in front, instead of fighting with the poncho all night by having to keep pulling it down in front. It just sits in place this makes the night much more enjoyable, and adds a little extra something to your poncho, that usually will be a conversation piece...as most woman will ask, where did you get that poncho from, I love the jewel. or jewels on the front neckline, & see how impressed they are when you can tell them you were the artist of that piece you are now wearing so stunningly!! =) I am in a wheelchair, so this is a huge issue for me as try to shift your capes or ponchos while being tired down to a wheelchair & have it crawl up or tugging back on ones neck...what a life saver one little added item can be! Hope this helps.

Cons: Fit, Comfort
Was dissapointed in the fit. It kept slipping backwards with neckline choking me. I feel like I pulled and adjusted it the entire evening.
