Finally! Tights that fit!

I wear tights to work every day (instead of panty hose which I have never found to fit me well and they tear too easily). I have purchased tights in the past that although they fit me, I spend half the day pulling them up because they work their way down; also the waistband rolls or the top part of the tights are really too short. These tights are wonderful! They are high waisted so you can pull them up as high as you are comfortable and they do not slip down all day...have not had to pull these up once! What a wonderful and comfortable feeling to wear tights that not only support my stomach and rear end but also fit like a glove! I made sure to but a size bigger than I thought I would need based on some of the other reviews on here...that was perfect! And I also agree with the whole crotch opening thing too...I still wear underwear under them (which I would do anyway...I can't stand to wear tights or pantyhose without underwear) but I am thinking of possibly trying to sew the crotch area shut with a few stitches...just for my own comfort. Otherwise I highly recommend these tights for all plus size women!! Try them...just be sure that you get a larger size than you think you need!! The expense was really worth it!

i just tried my first ever pair of spanx. i am sure i would have loved them if only i had ordered the correct size. but alas, the size d was not big enough to get over my tummy area. the legs were fine but almost got them up is not good enough.....too much hip/tummy for even spanx i guess. and this is the only size available. i didn't know that spanx came in a larger size than d, just not this style. :( they seemed to be well made and good quality and i am sure i would have gotten lots of year out of them, had they fit. is it me or do they just run really small as others have said ??? i am planning to return them.

First, I am in no way affiliated with Spanx. Now, that being said, I have to say I am a major Spanx chearleader...GoOoOo SPANX! These high wasted tights give me much, much needed support in the tummy and the band doesn't roll much, unlike some tights do. Yes, they are pricy, but you are buying the Rolls-Royce of support garment/tights here. These are strong and durable so well worth the investment!
My only complaint is that there needs to be more color options.

Could have been the best tights ever

These tights are thick, heavy & strong, just what I wanted. They squeeze my entire lower body while Im wearing them, like getting a great massage with every step.
The problem for me is the double gusset, which effectly makes them , "crotchless". I guess you could wear your underwear over them, but to me, that defeats the purpose of wearing tights in the 1st place.
If this feature does not bother you, get them. They feel very wonderful, stay very opaque even when streched & seem to be quite durable. They also stay in place very well without slipping or the waistband rolling much at all.
